My granddaughter recently received this from her daycare.  For all those Brisbane parents with prep age kids:

Mater Health and Wellness is offering a new screening program, Getting Set for Prep, to provide information to assist parents and teachers determine whether children are ready to commence the Prep year.

The program includes two hours of assessments by specialist paediatric occupational therapists and speech pathologists, and a feedback pack is provided to parents, which contains a written report and recommendations on completion.

The cost of Getting Set for Prep is $400; private health fund rebates may be available. If further therapy is required, ongoing developmental paediatric services are offered at an additional cost.

The Getting Set for Prep Clinic is located on Level 3, Mater Children’s Hospital, Raymond Terrace, South Brisbane.

Please phone Mater Health and Wellness on 07 3163 6000 to make an appointment or go to wellness.mater.org.au.
