If you think your bub needs a top-up after a beast feed, either with Expressed Breast Milk (EBM) or Formula,( NAN H.A. 1), here's how to do it.

First option is to use a bottle with a teat. I have found the the best teats to be Pidgeon Peristaltic Teats.  Babies find them easy to manage and they are less likely to cause nipple confusion. The bottle should be PBA free. Glass bottles are available at some outlets and these will require a Pidgeon Peristaltic standard size S teat.

Is there a second option???

The amount to offer will vary. You'll need to assess how full the stomach feels and looks. The baby will have a bulge just below their rib cage. Also, the verocity of bub's sucking and gradual slowing down is a good indicator of how full bub may be. The typical 'milk drunk' look is a sure bet.
